Don't Listen to Me, Listen to Julia Louis-Dreyfus
In fact, listen to Julia Louis-Dreyfus listen to other extraordinary women
I’m mourning the end of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ podcast, Wiser Than Me, even though technically it wrapped up in April of last year. Each episode, the 63-year-old actress interviews incredible women who are older, and therefore wiser, than she is.
The premise feels ironic because it was my baby sister who recommended it. She’s seven years younger than I am, but she’s always felt wiser than me.
I’ve been wracking my brain, trying to pick a favorite episode so I could tell you where to start, but I honestly think you should listen to the whole season. It’s like a nutritious warm meal. It’s like a nap where you actually wake up refreshed. It’s like … it’s like … my bbs, it’s so good. If you listen, let me know what you think!

And (deep breath) I am being brave and announcing a new chapter of my career and dreams and goals.
I’m giving myself a promotion. I am now a creative director!
About a year ago, a magician in New York asked me to help write a new show. Our collaboration changed my life and totally shifted my career goals. My purpose is to help others translate their ideas, emotions, and stories into FINISHED PROJECTS. I’m honored by the clients who've let me inside their noggin and beyond excited to keep providing folks with ✨creative direction✨
If you or someone you know wants to take me up on a free consultation, you can find all the info here (or click on this really cute pic West took).
Ok, whew. It’s always a little scary being my own boss, and I wish I could announce that we have cake in the breakroom to celebrate.
Thank you for being here.
Lots of Love,
Christina
P.S. If you’re reading this on Friday, the 9th, there’s a new moon in Aquarius shaking things up right now. The sign of Aquarius asks us to examine how we as individuals affect the collective; living fully as yourself is the best thing you can do for the world. This new moon is a reminder that we have to put on our mask before helping others, so take a moment to reflect on ways you can support yourself. Sometimes, that means putting the dishes away so your future self doesn’t have to deal with it in the morning (future past Christina, I’m talking to you).
If you’re interested in learning more, I love everything Chani Nicholas writes. Here’s her take on the new moon.
